This report is being written on a hot day at the end of January. Despite the heavy snowfalls in the northern hemisphere, I worry that the ongoing warming in Victoria will mean less snow this winter. The Christmas BBQ was well attended and enjoyed on a beautiful day. The January lunch at Amora Hotel Riverwalk was not such great weather, but everyone enjoyed the travelling jazz ensemble and some were taken back to the halcyon days of their youth. I look forward to seeing you at an airconditioned pub night soon and possibly the cooler environment of The Prom. Take care David Tomkins |
