As the season draws to a close, I am about to fly off to South East Queensland (yet again).

We have had a reasonable ski season and should be grateful for that, in these days of global warming.

I have not had a lot of time on the snow, but the time I’ve had was very pleasant and relaxing.

The 5 days at Howmans with other Winter Groupers was great, despite the threat of rain at the beginning and end. I would encourage everyone to try and schedule that week into
your plans for next year.

We have continued to have enjoyable and reasonably well attended pub nights, except for the night that fell on the 4th last (rather than the last) Tuesday night of the month. We will have to try and avoid that happening next year.

I look forward to seeing you at a pub night or a summer activity when we return from Queensland.

Take care

David Tomkins
