Surrey Park is not very large, but it has large shady trees, a BBQ area and covered seated area.  However, the BBQs are often occupied by large groups who also use the seated area, so please bring chairs just in case.  I will bring my portable Webber gas BBQ so that we can cook irrespective of whether Council BBQ is available or not (they clean it regularly, by the way).

There is a lake and on Sundays the model boat club come along with their boats of all kinds so we can always amuse ourselves by inspecting those.

Approach from Surrey Park from Elgar Road by turning into Standard Road.  Do NOT approach from Station Street as the gym nearby is being renovated that they are likely to close that access.
